چکیده

BACKGROUND: Pressure sensing at the body-device interface can help assess quality of fit and function assistive devices during physical activities movement such as walking running. However, dynamic performance various pressure sensor configurations is not well established.
OBJECTIVE(S): Two common commercially available thin-film sensors were tested to determine effects clinically relevant setup focusing on loading areas, interfacing elements (i.e. ‘puck’) calibration methods.
METHODOLOGY: Testing was performed using a customized universal testing machine simulate dynamic, mobility loads interface. Sensor evaluated by analyzing accuracy hysteresis.
FINDINGS: The results suggest that method has significant effect although difference mitigated an elastomeric puck. Both exhibited similar agree with hysteresis values reported manufacturers in previous studies assessing mainly static quasi-static conditions.
CONCLUSION: These findings under conditions may be adequately represented via quasi-testing testing. This important since much easier apply reduces burden users verify prior clinical application. authors also recommend load puck for achieve optimal performance.

the role of application of dynamic assessment approach in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels

the present study sought to investigate the role of dynamic assessment (da) in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels. to this end, after conducting the quick placement test, 60 iranian efl learners were assigned to two groups with different language proficiency levels. in both groups each participant wrote two compositions, one before and one af...

Dynamic interfacial tension at the oil/surfactant-water interface.

We have used dynamic interfacial tension measurements to understand the structure of the ordered monolayer at the hexadecane/water interface induced by the presence of surfactant molecules. No abrupt changes in the interfacial tension (gamma) are observed during the expansion and contraction cycle below the interfacial ordering temperature (Ti) as observed for alkanes in contact with air. The l...
